Lovett Hall at the Henry Ford is one of the most elegant ballrooms in the area for a wedding. Listen, we know that ballrooms have gotten a bad rap in the past. But this ballroom blows them all out of the water! Burmese teak flooring, crystal chandeliers, garden courtyards, and a ballroom balcony all make this space worthy of an elegant, roaring wedding day celebration! Wondering who to thank for all of these fabulous details? You can say a great big thank you to Henry Ford himself, who oversaw all of the attention to detail during the facility’s construction.
Amanda and Adam chose a Henry Ford wedding for their vows, and wedding reception. And we’re in love with the attention to detail they put into making the already ornate space, completely their own! We’ll get into all the details that made it so extraordinary. Like the delicate wildflowers at their ceremony and the way they included their furbaby on their cupcake table and on their signature drink menu (not literally, of course!). But first, we’ll tell you about the amount of energy that they and their entire wedding party brought to the day. Spoiler, it’s a lot! The wedding party entrance at the reception was hysterical and fun-filled, creating an interactive experience for all of their guests. You’ll get to see it all below.

As for Amanda and Adam? Well, their story goes all the way back to their college days, when Amanda escorted Adam to his fraternity’s formal! And wouldn’t you know it, the couple began officially dating just one month after that night. Five years later, their beloved pup, Harley, joined their blossoming family of two. And, in August of 2022, Adam popped the question, and Amanda, of course, said yes! The two college sweethearts turned forever dates and soon-to-be husband and wife began planning their Henry Ford wedding at Lovett Hall.
We’re not entirely sure who the driving force was behind the whimsical color palette in their lush florals or the tones of muted sage and dusty blue in the bridesmaid’s dresses, but it all blended together so seamlessly. Like a breath of fresh air in a springtime garden! Amanda and Adam kicked off the day with a private first look before we took to the streets with them and their wedding party for portraits. Being familiar with the area, it was easy for us to coordinate the most amazing spots for their group shots. Backdrops that reflected the energy of the group, and portrait locations for Amanda and Adam that leaned heavily on the amount of admiration and love (by the way, it’s a lot!) they have for each other! From the Couple
“Rosy and Shaun are great and went above and beyond for us on our wedding day! There are so many benefits to having two photographers for the ENTIRE time. We were able to take getting ready bridesmaid and groomsmen photos simultaneously for an efficient timeline. They have so much experience taking photos in Detroit and know all the best spots, so we just followed them with minimal planning. They were so warm to everyone and brought great energy! We are so happy they took candid photos of all our guests during cocktail hour. Our day was captured perfectly and we couldn’t be more satisfied!”
