2000 Brooklyn Detroit Wedding

If you’ve ever swam in the sea of Lisa Frank’s psychedelic vibes, this wedding at 2000 Brooklyn Detroit will wrap you up in a warm hug from circus performers before sending you on your way with a sweet treat from the ice cream truck parked outside!

Sarah and Jared’s vision when planning their wedding at 2000 Brooklyn Detroit, was to embody their vibrant personalities All while turning their wedding day into a full-blown experience for them and their guests. How many couples do you know that would spend the morning of their wedding getting ready, together? That was Sarah and Jared’s approach. Before entering their venue and greeting a stretch of guests, they used those moments early in their day to fasten one another’s attire. When it was time for them to walk down the aisle of their outdoor wedding ceremony space at 2000 Brooklyn Detroit, they did that side by side, with hands clasped.

The private outdoor space was set up with an open circle of chairs for guests, with an altar space for Sarah and Jared, right smack dab in the middle. To mark their ceremony space, neon florals in bold shades of pink and blue were arranged as a floral nest. But, we all but guarantee, that you’ll never see a more enthusiastic ring exchange than Sarah and Jared’s!

What erupted next, was a next-level wedding reception, all inside the walls of 2000 Brooklyn Detroit! You thought we were joking about the circus performers and ice cream truck? Not even a little bit! There was roller skates, fire breathing, and suspended acrobats. Guests were treated to a special interactive performance by a local premier lion dance group. Needless to say, this all went down before Sarah’s outfit changed, which included a glittery fanny pack, thank you very much!

There were custom-crafted cocktails affectionately named after Sarah and Jared’s favorite felines and disco balls hanging from the ceiling! Once Sarah took to the dance floor, her guests joined her under a flurry of metallic confetti. By the way, The couple’s guests definitely got the memo on the vibe for the day because they showed up in their best colorful, shimmery attire. The entire day was a fully immersive experience. Showcasing how carefully Sarah and Jared thought about selecting each element, and what it would bring to their day.

Knowing what Sarah and Jared had in store for their wedding day, we wanted to provide them with a wedding photography experience that closely rivaled their wedding day extravaganza. When it came time to work with them on their portraits, we paired their modern but chic wedding attire, with the industrial backdrop of the streets surrounding their venue. And, if looks could kill you’d be lying on the floor because they came, they married, they conquered, and they left a trail of confetti in their wake! From The Bride

“As soon as I saw this team of wedding photographers work, I knew I must have them. Rosy & Shaun’s photos speak for themselves and stand out far & above the rest. They are kind of like the cool kids of wedding photographers, anything but basic. My wedding photos tell the story of our day better than I could have imagined. Somehow they managed to capture absolutely everything, which is no small feat with so much happening. Rosy & Shaun arrived and immediately set us at ease with their calming presence & “we got you” attitude. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience of working with them & the quality of their work. I will be forever grateful to them for being such a positive part of one of the most precious days of my life. Our photos are perfect & such treasures to have forever.”
