Will You Help Us With Posing?
Absolutely. Most couples tell us they've never been professionally photographed before, and that's completely normal. We'll guide you with simple prompts and natural direction so you never have to wonder what to do, while keeping everything relaxed, genuine, and true to the two of you.
What should we wear for our engagement photos?
Choose outfits that feel like you. Coordinating colors and timeless styles tend to photograph beautifully, but comfort is just as important. If you'd like help deciding what to wear, we're happy to offer recommendations before your session.
Can we bring our dog to our engagement session?
Of course. Some of our favorite engagement sessions have included four-legged family members. We simply recommend bringing a friend or family member who can take your pup for a walk or head home after a few photographs, so we can focus on the two of you for the rest of the session.
Where should we take our engagement photos?
Every couple is different, and your engagement session should reflect that. Whether you already have a location in mind or are deciding between a few Detroit favorites, we'll help you choose a setting that feels personal and fits your vision.
What happens if it rains on our engagement session?
If the forecast calls for heavy rain or severe weather, we'll reschedule your session at no additional cost. Michigan weather can be unpredictable, so we'll keep an eye on the forecast and make the call together.
