Kayla and Nico’s wedding at The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg was a beautiful blend of art, architecture, and celebration.
The day began at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront, where Kayla got ready surrounded by her family and closest friends. One of the most emotional moments of the day was her first look with her father before heading to the museum. Later, Kayla and Nico shared their own first look outside The Dalí Museum, taking advantage of the museum’s iconic architecture and waterfront setting for portraits.
Their ceremony took place inside the museum beneath the dramatic spiral staircase, creating a truly unforgettable setting for exchanging vows. As the sun set, guests gathered on the outdoor patio for an evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration under the Florida sky.
One of our favorite moments from the reception came when a bridesmaid surprised everyone by breaking out an impressive worm on the dance floor while still wearing her dress. It was the perfect example of the energy and joy that filled the entire evening.
The Dalí Museum remains one of our favorite wedding venues in the Tampa Bay area. Its combination of world-class art, striking architecture, and beautiful waterfront location creates an incredible backdrop for a wedding day.

Words from the bride:
“If you’re scrolling through reviews right now trying to find the perfect wedding photographers to capture your big day, you can stop scrolling; you found them!! This married couple is not only super adorable, but their ability to read each other and work together combined with their creative vision will inevitably result in the most breathtaking, intimate and unique photos.
Rosy and Shaun were one of the first vendors that we reached out to. They were extremely prompt with their responses, and their prices are very reasonable compared to other photographers that we looked into. After our first conversation with them, we were confident we made the right choice.
Fast-forward to a few months before the wedding. They scheduled a day to meet with us at the venue so they could see what they were working with. Not only that, but they went back to our venue the day before our wedding to make sure they knew the best spots for photos and where the best lighting would be.
On the big day, they showed up early and ready to roll! Honestly, I felt a bit nervous about being on camera all day. But Rosy and Shaun made us feel totally at ease! They guided us and kept us laughing; it felt like chilling with friends.
I really don’t have enough good things to say about Rosy and Shaun; working with them was so much fun, and their photography speaks for itself. We can’t thank them enough for capturing our big day!!”
If you’re exploring our website and notice that we’re based in Detroit but feature many Florida weddings, there’s a good reason for that.
We spend much of every winter in Florida, typically from December through mid-April, photographing weddings throughout Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Orlando, and Central Florida.
Florida has been part of our lives for many years. Shaun has family in the area and has been visiting since he was a kid, and what started as regular trips eventually grew into photographing weddings throughout the state each winter season.
While Detroit remains home for much of the year, you’ll often find us in Florida during wedding season, documenting celebrations throughout Tampa Bay and Central Florida.
