One Campus Martius Wedding

Mia and Zach’s wedding at One Campus Martius was a rockin’ celebration! Every single guest was up out of their seats and on the dance floor for The Hora. The energy was off the charts with guests circling the bride and groom in celebration of their newlywed status.

While Mia and Zach had many Jewish wedding day traditions woven into their day, their approach was super modern! To start, in Mia’s bridal suite, the champagne was flowing while a jeweler set up a station for Mia and her wedding party to get permanent bracelets! Have you heard of this?! The jeweler ‘zaps’ the closure on the bracelet. Mia chose a glitzy delicate gold bracelet for her wedding day look, and it matched her gown perfectly. By the way, her gown? Wait until you see it! We guarantee you have never seen a more chic and modern wedding gown than hers! Silk gown with a hi-lo hemline, a deep V back, and a row of buttons down the side. Insanely gorgeous to capture with the long train walking through the streets. But we’re telling you, this gown looks like it was made just for Mia!

Mia and Zach’s wedding ceremony took place on the patio of Elevate at One Campus Martius. The groomsmen came out first, carrying the chuppah. They then held it in place for the entirety of the ceremony as Mia and Zach joined in marriage. Traditionally, the chuppah symbolizes the home that the couple is making as they come together in marriage. Mia and Zach exchanged rings before their parents covered them with a tallit (a Jewish prayer cloth). The use of the tallit during the final blessing of the ceremony is meant to cover the couple’s shoulders. The symbolism behind this is to show they are unified and surrounded by love. With the ceremony complete, Mia and Zach also had a signing and reading of the ketubah. A beautiful ceremony steeped in tradition where Mia and Zach were again surrounded by family as they sealed their marriage vows.

The wedding celebration at Elevate at One Campus Martius was filled with the sounds of live music, and laughter. Guests mixed and mingled hit the dance floor, and made sure to get in a hug with the bride and groom. A late-night snack of cookies and milk was served to keep the energy flowing. Mia and Zach left no stone unturned in planning a fabulous wedding day experience for themselves and their guests, scroll through the photos below to see more!

Review

“Rosy & Shaun captured our day with such ease and grace. They are unbelievably professional and take the most amazing pictures. We were looking for candid and real moments vs. staged photos and they delivered. Taking pictures can be overwhelming for the bride and groom but they made it enjoyable. Not only that, but because they are husband and wife they can “example” the poses to make sure they get the best shots. The first set of photos turned around very quickly so we could share our love story. I would highly recommend R+S!”
