Megan and Patrick’s Daxton Hotel wedding was a black-and-white affair with super lush florals and all the champagne-popping vibes! There was live entertainment at cocktail hour and the reception. The drinks were flowing as guests clinked glasses to the newlyweds and the reception was a big old dance party! Who says a black-tie wedding can’t be an epic party? However, we have something to fess up to. Though all of the guests at Megan and Patrick’s wedding were overjoyed to celebrate their vows, the flower girls singlehandedly created a dance floor at the cocktail hour. They danced like no one was watching, it was beyond adorable and you can guarantee that we included that cherished moment in the photos below.

Another magic ingredient that we loved about Megan and Patrick’s Daxton Hotel wedding was their first look and private vows. Patrick was so excited to lay eyes on Megan in her wedding dress that his jaw dropped. After the initial surprise of seeing his beautiful wife-to-be, they melted into the most adoring embrace. With the first look complete, we took a few steps back to allow Megan and Patrick space to recite personal vows to one another. Personal vows have gone from wedding day trend to wedding day must-have. It’s an amazing experience to add to your wedding day for so many reasons. But, we will leave you with this. It’s an added moment that you and your spouse can have privately, away from the watchful eyes of your guests. And it’s also a moment filled with so much beautiful raw emotion that shines through in your wedding photos.

Megan and Patrick’s official vows came shortly after with their wedding party on either side and a gorgeous deconstructed floral arch. The full of sparkling smiles couple was officially married. For their Daxton Hotel wedding reception, Megan slipped into a sparkly party dress. Perfect for twirling on the dance floor with the flower girls! There were treasured dances with parents as generations of family members watched on, and it was all topped off with an amazingly delicious four-tier wedding cake!
