They kicked things off at the MGM Grand Detroit, doing their first look right by the hotel’s chic entrance. Then, we hit the streets—literally—for some downtown portraits that really captured the city’s energy.

Next up was the Belle Isle Casino, where their outdoor ceremony took place against a backdrop of nature and the Detroit skyline. Their reception was a woodland wonderland, with long tables that set the scene perfectly. We even took a detour to the Belle Isle Fountain for some breathtaking sunset shots.

The party kicked off with a grand entrance, followed by the cake cutting and their unforgettable first dance. DJ Skipz kept the dance floor packed all night, and let’s not forget the late-night taco vendor—because who doesn’t love tacos?

Since the day I started planning my wedding I knew I wanted Rosy and Shaun to be my wedding photographers. I’ve been friends with Rosy for many years and ever since I can remember, photography has been her passion. Knowing how much her and Shaun enjoy what they do made it an easy decision. I knew they would make it an artistic and enjoyable experience rather than just “a business deal”. The day of the wedding Shaun had picked the settings and locations that would be best for us according to what we described in our consultation. He is very easy going and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable during the shoot. Everything was very natural and seamless, and he never made us pose in weird positions.
