Fall wedding at Colony Club

Kelly and Brad’s fall wedding at the Colony Club was a dazzling display of love and sophistication. The season’s vibrant colors heightened the day’s magic, and we were there to document every touching moment. The day kicked off at Kelly’s parents’ house, the same place we started when photographing her sister’s wedding just a few years ago. Kelly shared an emotional first look with her dad, while her mom watched, teary-eyed. Opting for tradition, Kelly and Brad chose to wait for the church aisle reveal. Brad’s reaction was nothing short of heartfelt when he saw his bride walking towards him.

After capturing family photos at the church, we whisked the wedding party away to the iconic Detroit Institute of Arts. The marble stairs provided a stunning backdrop for some memorable shots. We then moved on to The Detroit Main Library, where the autumn foliage added another layer of beauty to the photos. Wrapping up the shoot, we headed to Wayne State’s campus for some final group shots.

The reception at the Colony Club was a sight to behold.

Kelly and Brad made a grand entrance, introduced to their cheering guests from the balcony above. Following their enchanting first dance, the Bluewater Kings took the stage, delivering hit after hit and keeping the dance floor buzzing all night.
