Gem Theatre

If all the world’s a stage (and who can argue with Shakespeare?) then there’s no better place to get married than in an actual theatre. Another fabulous historic location, the Gem Theatre is a feast for the eyes with its ornate 1920s Arts and Crafts architecture. You’ll save on decorations because this venue is beautiful enough to stand on its own.

Inside you’ll find two ballrooms and two dining rooms with incredible hand-painted walls, plus a unique Spanish Revival style. Step outside and enjoy the beautiful landscaping that will make you forget you’re in the middle of a bustling city.

If you’re a fan of the theatre or someone who loves beautiful buildings, the Gem Theatre’s wedding venue is your perfect match.

Roostertail

Ever since it was built in 1958 this venue has been attracting everyone from Elton John to The Rolling Stones. Join the list of celebrities, famous personalities, and happy couples who have been to Roostertail

Located on the banks of the Detroit River, this unique event venue is all about looks. 25,000 square feet of floor-to-ceiling glass windows create gorgeous, glass-enclosed rooms so that you can enjoy your big day and the view all at the same time.

With complimentary parking and a set of famous water fountains that shoot dramatically up into the air, it’s no wonder this venue was awarded WeddingWire’s Couple’s Choice of 2019.

The Madison

You’ll find this gem right in the heart of downtown Detroit, where it offers you and your guests easy access to restaurants, lodging, and historical sites.

On the outside it may look like an old-fashioned theatre but inside you’ll find a sleek and modern space full of geometric shapes, pops of bright color, and sleek furniture.

The Rooftop is a unique downtown Detroit rooftop wedding venue.  It has beautiful downtown views of Comerica Park, Ford Field, the Detroit Opera House, and Fox Theatre.

Choose either The Rooftop or The Loft for your nuptials, and you’re guaranteed to wow your guests with your taste and style. This striking, modern space is perfect for a couple with an adventurous side, because this is not your traditional venue!

Masonic Temple

For an unforgettable wedding experience for you and your guests look no further than the Detroit Masonic Temple. From the moment you step foot into the lobby, modeled after a traditional Sicilian castle, you’ll be inspired by the breathtaking architecture, detailed designs, and grandeur of the largest Masonic Temple in the world.

From intimate to opulent, this venue is one of our favorites to photograph. We love the black and white marble floors, high ceilings, and stunning architectural details.

The Whiskey Factory

Whiskey Factory Detroit

Everyone wants their wedding day to stand out, and what better way to do that than with a unique, one-of-a-kind venue? Especially if that venue is all about some good drinks!

This historical brewing-factory-turned-event-venue still houses a working distillery that creates beautiful artisanal spirits that are served at every event. The beautiful event space pays homage to the building’s history with a wall of aging whiskey barrels, as do the artisanal spirit packages offered when you book your event.

The Whiskey Factory Detroit is the perfect wedding venue for couples who love a good craft cocktail, with up to 190 of your closest friends.
