Planterra Conservatory Wedding

Jacqueline and Nic planned an impeccable Planterra Conservatory Wedding, that was also filled with heaps of fun! Every detail was on point. From the celebration to dinner service, and even the signature drinks. Each element worked to bring their wedding from fun-inspired to next-level!

About a year before their Planterra Conservatory Wedding, we met Jacqueline and Nic to capture their engagement photos. Although their wedding took place in Michigan, we flew out to DC for a sunrise engagement session at the iconic Lincoln Memorial. As wedding photographers, we always love to meet our couples for engagement photos before their wedding day, for so.many.reasons! Think about it this way, how nerve-wracking would it be to meet your wedding photographers on the day of your wedding while they have a camera pointed at you? One thing about us, we are all about capturing those candid moments on your big day. In order to do that, we need to see your love language in action before the big day arrives.

Planning a Planterra Conservatory Wedding?

Let’s chat about bringing some of our wedding photography magic to your best day ever!

For Jacqueline and Nic, they are all about PDA and a good laugh together. Which gave us an idea of what to expect on their wedding day, and how to bring about the best moments through their photography experience. Meeting them for their engagement session, we were able to see that there was so much emotion behind their story. That emotion was evident when the big day finally arrived.

We added a first look to Jacqueline and Nic’s wedding photography timeline. When Jacqueline walked up behind Nic and tapped him on the shoulder, he got to see his gorgeous wife-to-be before they met at the altar. Next, they took a private moment to exchange personal vows. We are big fans of the personal vows over here! Because sometimes there are things you want to say privately, away from your guests, and that moment alone just makes things all the more memorable. Jacqueline and Nic’s private vows were filled with happy tears. But also the kind of belly laughter that makes your cheeks hurt!

Jacqueline and Nic’s wedding took place during early spring. The delightful turn of the season met their wedding day vision at their greenhouse-style wedding venue. With greenery, pretty much everywhere you turn, a wedding at Planterra Conservatory would be just as amazing in the fall or winter. Another aspect of Jacqueline and Nics Planterra Conservatory Wedding that we loved was the addition of their fur baby. The venue allows pups during your wedding ceremony so they can be present as your ring bearer or flower sprinkler, pretty amazing right? In addition to their open-door pet policy, Planterra Conservatory is an all-inclusive wedding venue. From food and drinks to florals and tables and chairs, they have it all.

But hey, we could talk about Jacqueline and Nic’s wedding at their amazing venue all day long! However, it would be much more exciting for you to experience it by scrolling through some of our favorite moments, in the photos below.

From the Bride

“Rosy and Shaun were absolutely incredible. They set up the timeline of our entire day and kept us perfectly on pace. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. Most importantly, the pictures were phenomenal. They knew exactly how to pose us and captured the most stunning candids. We’ll cherish the pictures forever!”
