Nikki and Jimmy’s wedding was an absolute dream, set against the scenic backdrop of the Waterview Loft at Port Detroit. The excitement began as they both prepped for their big day in separate rooms at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. Their first look was nothing short of magical. Taking place on the rooftop of the iconic RenCen, with the city skyline as a breathtaking backdrop.
We then whisked the wedding party off to the Detroit Institute of Arts for some vibrant and artistic shots. The bride and groom stole a few moments for themselves along the serene Detroit Riverwalk Park. They captured intimate portraits that radiated love and anticipation.
Their ceremony unfolded on the lower level of the Waterview Loft. An intimate setting filled with emotion and personalized touches. Their beloved dog trotted down the aisle, adding a heartwarming touch to the ceremony. It was a charming surprise that filled the moment with extra joy. Post-ceremony, we seized the opportunity to snap some candid and heartwarming moments of the newlyweds with their furry friend.

Guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio, soaking in the panoramic views of the Detroit River as the sun began to set. Emerald City Designs truly outdid themselves with the decor, transforming the space into a whimsical wonderland that perfectly reflected Nikki and Jimmy’s style.
As the evening progressed, they made their grand entrance, cutting into a stunning cake crafted by the talented Sweet Heather Anne. After a delicious dinner, the couple descended downstairs to share their first dance, enveloped by the warm glow of twinkling string lights. The garage doors rolled up, signaling the start of an unforgettable dance party, with guests letting loose and celebrating the newlyweds in style.
